popular bands that you hate

As clichéd as it sounds, I can't say I hate any band. To some degree it is a semantics issue with me. The word "hate" itself (in my working definition) implies I expend energy disliking something. Just don't have time or energy to be that passionate about disliking something.

Twenty years ago, my opinion would have been very different.

I'm on this road. That's kind of why I implied I was indifferent. Even then there are bands I don't get excited about normally that hit me just the opposite when I'm in the right place or mood.

Sounds suspiciously like my 'opinion' on The Beatles (or Abba for that matter) circa 1978.

Jet, we are not coming down on you but only trying to open your eyes to a great band. We are all classic rock fanatics. That means that we all have our own opinions. I'm not saying that this is your case but sometimes people listen to one song and don't like it. They don't take the time to explore the other songs by the same band or artist. We are simply trying to widen your range of rock.
