Well....back in the 80's it was ok because it was the 80's and then he cut his hair shorter back when he was like on The Surreal Life, but now?.......yuck....

My favorite Poison material is off

    Flesh and Blood

    I think

    Something To Believe In

is probably one of the most meaningful well written hair band songs period.

My other favorites from that c.d., besides Ride The Wind as listed in the OP, are:

    Life Goes On

    Flesh and Blood (Sacrifice)

I also respect and enjoyed the result of them trying something different on the next album with:

    Stand

Yeah I would also have to say that Flesh & Blood was a good disc from them

One of my faves still goes back to the first album... title track

Look What the Cat Dragged In

    No tell, motel, hotel bed
If it wasn't for the sunlight I'd swear I was dead
I got a girl on the left of me
    a girl on the right
I know damn well I slept with both last night

C'mon, if this isn't the epitome of why some of us wanted to be rockstars.... :D

Besides all the bogus talk about the band.. I have good things to say about them since they were big money makers and appreciated by large groups of rock fans..
You cannot deny.. they are loved by the fans, who show up to support the boys..
I saw it and was in un belief at one of their concerts..Everybody came alive.. Years after they started the Poison era..
I have more to add than their first albums.... I like a few unmentioned CD's that were latter released..
Crack a Smile is one of my favorite poison cd's..
20 tracks ranging from covers to some finally released new tracks that gave this a worthy listen to Poisons fans..

And the Doctor Hook song.. "Cover Of The Rolling Stone"

OMG, that album cover is hilarious...no offense to their fans but that is taking it to the extreme of Glam in my opinion, when you start to almost look better than your female fans that is...:lmao:

:heheh: Funny thing is.. I don't think of Glam when I hear their music. There are two things I associate Glam with.... punk music and British rock bands..
So it kinda throws me off that they went with a Glam look..
Later to be called a "Hair Metal Band"

bah ha ha! I recon you are probably right, Thumper, with the younger girls anyway. A lot of those girls are bicurious......but I on the other hand, dont find a guy attractive if he looks better than me! :wtf: Seriously, in the Debut album those guys look beautiful.....
