^^I like DT myself...but can't rate them as my all time favorite prog band. It's too bad Portnoy felt compelled to leave but that's life in the music business.

I think of Dream Theater more as prog metal, but definitely a great band.

A very similar sounding group is Circus Maximus.

It's a band from my region, the basque country, and they sing in basque, which is the very own language of that region... Have you ever heard of O.R.k.? Great prog rock supergroup Colin Edwin (Porcupine Tree), Lorenzo Esposito Fornasari (Obake), Pat Mastelotto (King Crimson), Carmelo Pipitone (Marta Sui Tubi):

Australian Progressive band Arcane are great. Nice melodies and clean vocals and well worth checking out.
