I love the mixing of rough and melodic sounds together. This band served me that element up on a silver platter. They have a great rock sounds that mixes some gorgeous piano with a vocalist that has a voice that slices through the beauty with a razor and the contrast of the two kicks ass IMO! I hear definite resemblances of Billy Corgan at his softest tone and that's a good thing for me! :) Great songs that have great builds! They only had one album but it left me craving more. I only hope they'll reuinite sometime down the road. Here's their sole album in my collection:

Oliver Under The Moon
(ironically the picture does give you an impression of the sound)

Here are my favorite tracks:

Panic
(my personal favorite)

Papercut

Cupid
(fun poppy song)

Fadawhite

Age

Well, that's a good preview for now! :grinthumb

:bump:

I have this album and it's fantastic. Such a wonderful mixture of pounding, prominent piano, heavy rock n' roll guitar and drums and nearly pop rock styled vocals. It's unlike anything I've heard before, and it certainly fits into a niche for me :grinthumb Panic is also my favourite from them, but I also took a liking to Beni Accident among all the other songs on the album :)

I'm so happy that you guys got into this! The style was different, the band is a 2,000's band that only made on album and the thread initially dropped fast so this was a darkhorse band that I'm proud had a rebound and got their music heard! Thanks for the responses! :grinthumb

I do agree, and because of this I suggest listening to it all the way through for the best experience! (Though I'm sure you'd do that anyway MP :D)
