Pink Floyd To Overhaul Back Catalogue
Pink Floyd’s back catalogue is to get a total overhaul, with their albums to be made available in various deluxe editions.
This will begin in the late September, with Dark Side Of The Moon being released as a six-disc Immersion box set and also in a two-disc Experience version, plus a collector’s edition vinyl LP and digital formats. On the same day, 14 other Floyd albums, all digitally remastered, are to be re-released in various formats.
This is to be followed in early November by Wish You Were Here, which will be put out as both a five-disc Immersion set and also in a two-disc Experience format. Both will include material from the band’s 1974 Wembley Arena shows. At the same time, a Floyd compilation titled A Foot In The Door – The Best Of Pink Floyd will come out.
Next February, The Wall will get a similar deluxe treatment, with a seven-disc Immersion and a three-disc Experience versions, plus collector’s vinyl and digital formats.
