I saw Roger last November in Philly. Absolutely amazing show!

Yes they are definitley planning a dvd! They did a lot of filming at the O2 shows in London. The icing on the cake would be if they decide to include footage of David Gilmour doing Comfortably Numb. So sweet...

Yeah I noticed that the second I heard it. I felt so bad for him too. I hope he wasn't too embarrassed. Give him props though, he didn't miss a beat afterward! The solos were brilliant and really, that's what matters, IMO.
It was such a moving moment for eveyone including the audience, that I don't think anyone really cared. It was just the point that they were all there together, getting along, being human with each other after such a long period of extreme bitterness.

I don't think it's a really big deal. The solos are amazing and he certainly would sell a whole lot more copies. But who knows with Waters.

I saw him live over here as well, back in September. I thought the show was fantastic, but I thought he tried a little TOO hard on the effects. From what I hear, that's how all of Pink Floyd's shows used to go, but I personally am more of a fan of bands focusing harder on the music, than making the show look bad-ass. I mean, it's great that he did, and the music was phoenominal, I just thought it could've been taken down a notch.

Floyd got me through some heavy emotional times in my youth. I remember times when I didn't want to go home and had nowhere else to go, I'd just park somewhere and zone off on Dark Side of the Moon or The Wall. "Comfortably Numb" was my anthem for a while there. I also really liked Animals and UmaGumma. Moments of those could really freak me out if I let them. I love that. Goosebumps from music.

^^I used to play DSOTM to escape when I needed to, on headphones. When things weren't going well at home it was something I could always count on to take me to a different place for a little while at least.

Roger has aged very well, he's got more on top than David these days...

I am glad they talk now and have put the past behind them even if they never do another official show together. And I'll have to pick up a DVD of Roger's best "Wall" concert one of these days, I keep forgetting.
