I heard Eyes Behind The Wall on Ozzy's Boneyard. Wow....just wow.
Like The Sword, a modern band that totally has a retro, classic metal sound that could fit right in around 1972 alongside Sabbath.

Agreed, they always seem to play London and I can't get the time off. I will be looking to see if these are playing any festivals next year..

Not sure, I would think that they are very popular but as they are not a uk band then we will not see them over here as much..

My copy of The Zodiac Sessions arrived Friday. I ripped it & retagged the songs into their original albums.
Still waiting for The Mouths Of Madness to get here. Should be tomorrow.
Always a great Sabbath vibe, but from this track I get a vintage KISS meets vintage Motorhead feel (instrumentally that is).

Founded in San Francisco in 2007 Orchid released their first EP in 2009 and a cult following started, this band sound like Black Sabbath, Zeppelin and others from the past. Band members are,Theo Mindell (Vocals), Carter Kennedy (Drums), Mark Thomas Baker, (Guitar), Keith Nickel, (Bass). This band are going places and have been stated as blowing everything away in their path.
Their albums are heavy and full of riffs straight from the 70's yet they still have a new vibe.
