This was an artist that possibly had one hit wonder written all over her. She was originally discovered by a producer dancing of all things. She then shortly started writing material for an album produced by Desmond Child and had her first single Kiss The Rain soar up the singles charts. She failed to created anything commercially viable after that but that one album had an assortment of good tracks for me though the first half was a lot stronger in my opinion. Also, the producer must have been psychic because though his focus was apparently on her moves and looks she had a great sexy, husky voice and could emote in her singing to tell a story. This is the album that I got into almost as much as any other during that time period:
