No worries dude, no rush, I just love the write ups is all. :heheh:
Death Angel was a recent addition to my metal library. Loved Relentless Retribution, I also heard Act III, Ultra Violence and Frolic. All albums I loved start to finish. Seems they are a consistent bunch.

Next thrash band on my radar is Annihilator.

Dark Angel hailed from L.A., California, and can be traced back as far as 1981. The very first demo was written when they were still going by the moniker of Shellshock. But it wasn't until 1984 that the band started to get some real recognition in the metal underground. 1985, their first full length album We Have Arrived was released. Dark Angel disbanded in 1992, when vocalist Ron Rinehart decided to leave the band. Some attempts to reunite the band were made in 2002, but alas nothing of note emerged. Dark Angel remains one of the many thrash metal acts that are hailed by thousands of fans, enjoy a huge cult following, but never really made it as big as they could have. One of my favorite Brutal Thrash bands they are something like a very early yet much more technical Slayer. The extreme complexity of their compositions, is IMO, one the main factors why they did not enjoy an even bigger metal following, as it can tend to confuse and even annoy some fans. I am definitely not of the later camp, but instead a huge fan of their musical prowess.

Another favorite of mine in the Brutal Thrash metal vein is the mighty and highly technical SADUS ..part of the original thrash metal scene of the '80s, San Francisco's Sadus originally consisted of members Darren Travis on vocals and guitar, Rob Moore on guitar, Steve DiGiorgio on bass, and Jon Allen on drums. The group began when all four members were attending high school in 1984, and due to the circulation of their demos 1986's DTP and 1987's Certain Death, the group built a strong local following. By the end of 1988, the band issued a debut full-length on their own, titled Illusions, produced by Metal Church guitarist John Marshall. This led to a deal with the metal label Roadrunner Records, which issued Swallowed in Black in 1990; the group supported it w/ a tour opening for Obituary and Sepultura. The following year, DiGiorgio lent his bass playing talents to the recording of Death's Human album, which helped introduce Sadus to a wider audience as they toured that same year with Morbid Angel in Europe for the first time.

Further releases followed -- Chemical Exposure and A Vision of Misery -- before the group left Roadrunner. Shortly thereafter, DiGiorgio rejoined Death to record their Individual Thought Patterns album, and this time, decided to tour with the band as Sadus took a break. In 1997, Sadus reunited to record a new album for new label Mascot Records, but by this time, Moore had left the group. Undeterred, the group carried on as a trio, releasing Elements of Anger (produced by renowned thrash/death metal producer Scott Burns) in 1998. DiGiorgio has become one of the genre's most sought-after bassists, as he's played with such other bands as the legendary death metal band Death, Dragonlord, Autopsy, Testament and Iced Earth. By 2000, Sadus was put on hold yet again, as the rhythm section of DiGiorgio and Allen accepted an invitation to join Testament, but were reformed to release 2006's Out for Blood. Sadus are IMO a thrash metal MONSTER much of their discography leaves Slayers Reign in Blood in the dust as far as shear speed is concerned and that is without even bringing technicality into the picture \m/

1988 Illusions
1990 Swallowed in Black
1992 A Vision of Misery
1997 Elements of Anger
2006 Out for Blood

Hopefully this will hold the interest of the budding thrash manics for a bit until I return with more of the old school thrash masters work :cheers2

was waiting to see if you were gonna put up sadus and dark angel.
also waiting on a few of the bands from europe to be up here especially a certain three piece band from Switzerland. Nice job man.

Of course Sadus and Dark Angel were gonna make an appearance here Numb ..two of my favs.
Also the MIGHTY ...and I do mean MIGHTY ..Coroner will be here soon. Easily a top 5 Thrash band for me. I guess I'll do parts of Europe next..was thinking east coast or the rest of the states ..Texas, Arizona etc.. but Europe works.
