Phantom's Divine Comedy

Phantom's Divine Comedy Part 1 was released after the death of Jim Morrison, 1974 to be exact,
and started a rumor that Morrison was still alive and this was new Doors music. It was later stated
to be Iggy Pop on vocals, both of which are false. Phantom's Divine Comedy is actually not that similar to The Doors IMO but people do love their conspiracy theories.

Pretty cool stuff

Uli Roth rules dude!! Saw him open for MSG twice a couple years back. His work in early Scorpions is legendary and his solo material is nothing to sneeze at either.

Nice post Nolob

CREEPY JOHN THOMAS

creepy_john_thomas_front.jpg

Formed 1969, London, England

UK '70s Heavy Psych / Hard Rockin' Blues band .Both albums were originally only released in Germany. The "Brother Bat Bone" CD sounds at times like a mixture of Captain Beefheart and the Pink Fairies and is probably my favorite but both are excellent .

"Creepy" John Thomas had earlier played in the Australian Flies and went on to join the Edgar Broughton Band. Very cool releases that I recently picked up at Ebay on a two on one disk release for about 20 dollars American or about 10 buck a piece ..definitely worth every penny.

Members "Creepy" John Thomas (lead vocals, guitar), Andy Marx (lead guitar, bass), Helmut Pohl (drums), Dave Hutchins (bass), Roy O'Temro (drums)

Discography :

1969 Creepy John Thomas
1970 Brother Bat Bone

Tiger is a British heavy progressive rock music band fronted by Big Jim Sullivan (alongside vocalist Nicky Moore), releasing three albums under this name. For the most part Tiger plays a kind of slow and soft Progressive Rock, with lots of melody and with subtle injections of Jazz and Funk. There are a few "bursts" of up tempo Jazz Fusion there are also some compositions that were built on a foundation of classic Funk Rock .But for the most part it's a rather laid back affair with lots of dreamy and melancholic passages. It's all very well performed, it's smart and artful, dramatic at times but never pompous or overdone. Tiger has two (yes, two) very good vocalists that cooperate well together. The first one is a melodic singer with a clear voice. The other one has a bluesier feel. It's this second singer who's of note, as it's a man called Nicky Moore, who would later go on to become the singer of the bands Samson and Mammoth (among others).

Not quite heavy psych, but still it is heavy!
