For me, the band has been heading downhill since the loss of Tarja.


I actually think their new CD is their worst to date, though I know there are many fans who like their new CD a lot.

Even though I liked the last 2 albums I do agree they never will match up close to the albums they did with Tarja.

Was just listening to Bless The Child.... I have to say that some of the guitar riffs in the song remind me a lot of Metallica's The Shortest Straw

I have all of the NIGHTWISH DVD's at home, and one of them has tour bus footage and they are partying listening to Metallica

I don't know.....Nightwish and Metallica are two seperate worlds IMO.

But a good metal riff it is. There's riffs in the back of most musicians' heads.

I have the End of An Era dvd. Haven't watched it right through but I did like the documentary.

Anette has left Nightwish. Seems like the band having a ton of conflicts.
