John Sykes is a pretty good singer/writer/guitarist, but even he could not record as Thin Lizzy.

I'd like to see him bring back Blue Murder, they were great and a bit Lizzy-like.

I really loved Phil Lynott and I wish he was still alive.

No one can replace Phil
He wrote or co-wrote all songs. He was the face and spokesman of the band.
Live everything was about Phil.

I'm very interested in what they will release, but I will never see it as a Thin Lizzy release. Even if they would use some of the unreleased songs that were found.

^^I feel the same way, but in some cases a new singer does fit with a band and I continue to support/follow their career. But when it's a completely unique individual like Phil or Freddie there simply is no replacing them and carrying on with the same band name.

I know many people hate on them, I like the band myself especially their early recordings but could anyone picture U2 carrying on without Bono as lead singer now?
