APRIL WINE were quite 'big' in the UK for a few months back in 1980 with the band playing the first DONNINGTON ROCK FESTIVAL that year along side RAINBOW, THE SCORPIONS, SAXON and TRUST and several other HM/Rock bands that were popular at the time.
I have a April Wine 6x cd box set although The Nature of the Beast is probably my favourite album out of the six plus from memory I even remember buying a April Wine 45rpm vinyl single in a picture bag that was in the UK singles chart back in 1980/81.
