For those that posted with general interest. The Zoom is a very cool tool that I have enjoyed very much so far. I have the Zoom plugged into my Line 6 Amplifier for playback (Don't have the $$ for real Monitor Speakers). The product can be a little overwhelming at times, but I really am taking my time and learning as I go as well as learning from youtube videos.
I have kept it pretty simple so far...I have 2 guitars (1 acoustic,1electric). I have recorded both and to be quite honest I enjoy the acoustic more right now,but I could see that changing as I get more and more comfortable with the effects, etc. Its a very small useful product that I can easily fit into a backpack and take it with me to a friends house and record quite easily the jam session from that evening.
You can record 2 multitracks simultaneously and playback 8 tracks simultaneously. It comes with software Cubase and you can plug the zoom into your laptop or desktop and adjust everything from volume to gain, etc.
The zoom has 2 built in mics, so its very easy to record songs, poems, thoughts, etc. It also has over 140 types, and 350+ patches for guitar amps, preamps, and I could go on for ever. Its got some cool effects that make your guitar sound like legends like (Jimi,SRV,EVH,Slowhand, etc)
I will be the first to admit, I'm no where close to experiencing all that the ZOOM has to offer...but I'm having a great time trying.
P.S. Slipnn2Darkness...I have 2 guitars (1 acoustic Fender and 1 Semi hollow body Epiphone DOT (Cherry)
I have included a picture of each...sorry if they are too big or too small
