I'm not up on prison privileges, but aren't they already allowed music and other things to occupy their time. I think if you pipe in music there would be a problem. Look at it this way...what if you were forced to listen to a certain type of music instead of your beloved classic rock? I bet that would make a difference n your psyche. :pullhair:

They do have some privileges Jersey.. I think some are allowed internet and other forms of contact outside the prisons..
I guess what seems to be the concern here is the type of music played.. I take into account that once your inside and know your going to be there for a long time.. You start missing things like the outside.. Driving down a road with friends.. The beach etc.. I believe if any type of music is played it would be a comfort.. Well maybe not John Denver..:peek
But to allow them several types of relaxing music.. Nothing rowdy you know..
Elvis Jail House rock.. Ac/Dc Jailbreak.. :heheh:

^^^ I don't see the harm in letting them listen to music of their choice even, in the confines of their cell. Music can be therapeutic and healing for people that are ill so it can only help in my opinion. I just don't know about the piping music in.

True Garrett so long as the 'prison DJ' doesn't accidently play something provocative like Bob Marley's- I SHOT THE SHERIFF!.:omg:

On the other hand maybe the 'in mates' would like that one?. :oyea:
