Re: Morbid Angel

I remember Where the Slime Live. Not because of the vocals, but I really liked the groove and the guitar work on it.

Re: Morbid Angel

Initially I was never big on growling vocals but now I cant get enough, great with the music.

Re: Morbid Angel

I was so wowed by the Blessed Are the Sick album.
Such fantastic vocals, love the structure and the fact they showed a variety of different pace through out the album.

Love the way the album finished with a brief piano song.

Re: Morbid Angel

The first four albums are pure classic death metal.

I'm waiting for the 2011 comeback album: Illud Divinum Insanus

Re: Morbid Angel

I first really got into this band a few months back when I started embracing death metal into my music tastes. Altars of Madness was the first album I heard.
My sister and her boyfriend got me into this band, helps having family and friends as metalheads lol.

Hope some old stuff gets played.

I saw them a couple years ago when David Vincent first returned and they were freaking incredible. One of the best sets I have ever seen.
They played nothing but the old stuff from the first 4 when I saw them w/ Vincent.

I love the first 4 and I can't understand what the hell they were thinking with this new one. It sounds nothing like their classic stuff or even anything near as good as the Tucker material from the samples I heard on youtube.

Have fun .It should be awesome. Trey is amazing live.

Re: Morbid Angel

^^ Cheers.
I just watched a documentary I got on a dvd with my Blessed are the Sick album.
Was awesome seeing and learning the band at that times process of how they make their albums, I liked Blessed because of its grooviness.
