I would say considering how low budget that album was they did well to even put the album out, for an album of that nature it is pure speed/thrash metal which I love, from Rattlehead to Mechanix.

It's a really good album, there is some kick ass musicianship on there, even if the production is not perfect. I go for songs over production any day, myself.

Lately so do I, production only matters to me in terms of actual music mixing, 1980s had that really raw nature to it with most albums.

So Far So Good is underrated as well. I don't get why people hate it. Sure it is no Peace Sells but I think it has its subtle charm about it, has the opening song which I think Dave wrote after he was fired from Metallica, a tribute song to Cliff Burton. Some insanely classy riffs.

It's probably cos it falls between 2 very good albums, isn't there only 2 or 3 out & out thrash numbers on the album i haven't heard it for maybe 10 years?.

Keep on thrashing...

Most of the songs on So Far So Good are thrash. Anarchy in The UK is probably the only one I heard that actually wasn't so much. Hook in Mouth, Set The World Afire, In My Darkest Hour, Into The Lungs of Hell are as thrashy as Peace Sells with a bit more melody.

It is worth listening to again, it suffers a lot for being between Peace and Rust but it is an under rated gem in itself. :D

Yeah thats wot i was saying originally that SO FAR, SO GOOD falls between to very good albums and therefore some people/fan's don't rate it as high as PEACE & RUST :D

Hey guy's i'm sometimes involved in a London based thrash metal band but the band is only half-formed. The 2-guitarist's are more into Death metal but are also into 'old skool' thrash as well. The band has a 'killer name' but i don't wanna mention it on here for obvious reasons :D
