No...it's GREAT! Get IT!!

Again, just my opinion, but I find it to be much better than Hang Cool Teddy Bear and his voice sounds good!!

I liked Hang Cool Teddy Bear personally.
Ill definitely give this album a shot though if you guys liked it.

right now I'm listening to a vinyl rip of Meatloaf-Bat Out Of Hell. The album is 35 years old and this is the first time I've ever heard it, apart from a couple radio songs way back in the day.

I like it, it rocks, although it is very showtune-ish or Vaudeville or something.

I live in Galicia, Spain.
He is one of the best, is balads are espectacular, he does great duets, but for me the best .... I Love, So I Told You A Lie, with Ted Nugent

Meat Loaf Is Headed for Vegas

Have you ever wanted to be in the audience for a Q&A session with Meat Loaf? It sounds like Las Vegas is the place to be.

Sin City will be getting an extra helping of the singer and reality-television star, who’s just been announced as the first headliner for the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino’s new RockTellz & CockTails series, which plans to bring stars to the Strip for a show that “combines intimate performances with Q&A sessions.”

“I’m thrilled to headline the first series of RockTellz and CockTails in Las Vegas,” enthused Loaf in a press release announcing the booking. “I’m excited to offer my fans such a personal experience — one that lets them share in the crazy journey I’ve been on for the past 47 years.”

According to ABC News Radio, ticket holders can expect to hear a number of Meat Loaf’s biggest hits — including ‘Two Out of Three Ain’t Bad,’ ‘Paradise by the Dashboard Light’ and ‘I Would Do Anything for Love’ — “in a stripped-down, interactive context.” The show is scheduled to run on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday evenings between Sept. 26 and Nov. 5, with tickets set to go on sale tomorrow (August 2) at the Planet Hollywood box office and Ticketmaster.

:oyea: OK I made myself laugh there. Love Meat....but I'm a bit gun shy with the performances these days.

Several of the songs from "Bat II" were on Jim's solo album and lately I've actually been enjoying his original version more than Meat's renditions. There is an odd charm about listening to them with Jim's strained vocals and the original instrumentation. That said "I'd Do Anything For Love" is still one of my favorite songs ever. That makes "Bat II"' worth digging out in of itself. ;)

Bat Out of Hell III I think is way underappreciated. Sure it doesn't really match up great against I and II but on its own is a great album.
