What a great song about looking back on a past love and the difficulty of letting go! I LOVE the lyrics to this as they paint such a picture and Anberlins vocalist is one of the best vocalist ever! What emotion and expression!

I could never leave this thread! I LOVE love songs and it's not even the subject matter. No one makes a love song to sound ugly. When an artist sets out to make their ballad they are setting out to make something that touches someones nerves and creates the most beautiful sound imaginary. The love song has me geek out like Lord of the Rings has a fantasy fan geek out! These are my jams!

So when it comes to love songs I LOVE this one for the same reason I liked The Notebook. I love when love skips the young teenybopper stage that is cute but likely won't last and references an elderly couple. True love is tested by time and when two people can still love each other for their purest essence after everything else is not in ideal shape then I can't think of anything better. Also Ben delivers the emotion of what he wrote perfectly. He's the best storyteller when it comes to characters today!

This is one of the most beautiful stories ever written! Told with just a simple acoustic, a wavering but sincere vocal and brilliant storytelling. Written like a movie scene this is an exaggerated but relatable story of two people who find each other by chance and find that their is someone else who can relate to them. Finding out that wearen't alone in what we feel is one of the greatest examples of love in any form. The exaggerated idea that love can fill one full of life again is both a dangerous and beautiful concept!
