Hi everyone,
My name is Johnny and I live in San Diego. I just discovered this site and can't wait to spend some time checking it out.
I guess it's simple.......I LOVE music! I'm thirty years old and grew up listening to "the oldies" station that my Dad would listen to, but it wasn't until I saw the Rolling Stones in 1997 that I became a true music fan. The Stones turned me on to so much: Chuck Berry, Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters, etc. Along the way I've listened to lots of different kinds of music. Everything from Mozart to Sabbath (who I just saw a few weeks ago in Chicago). By the way, they rocked!
I love Neil Young, CCR, Pink Floyd, Bob Dylan and pretty much anything that's got a guitar and a groove.
More recently, I've really gotten into a lot of "newer" bands: Black Keys, My Morning Jacket, Dr. Dog, Delta Spirit, Deer Tick and just about anything that Jack White puts out.
Anyway, I could go on and on...but will save some words for future posts.
