Bron-Yr-Aur (pronounced "Bron-rar") was a Welsh cottage that served as a getaway and a source of inspiration vital to Led Zeppelin III primarily for Robert and Jimmy during the early 70's. Some songs from Physical Graffiti and Houses of the Holy can also be attributed to time spent at Bron-Yr-Aur. The cottage had no running water or electricity, yet Plant and Page would often times retreat to Bron-Yr-Aur to escape the chaos of touring life to work on their music and relax with their families and a few roadies. According to Robert Plant, Jimmy's daughter Scarlet was conceived "about a half an hour" after That's the Way was written after one of Plant and Page's outside impromptu writing/recording sessions with a tape recorder. The serene inspiration of Bron-Yr-Aur is evident in songs such as the appropriately-titled "Bron-Yr-Aur", "Over the Hills and Far Away" and "Down by the Seaside".
