Really cool stuff MP! I'm starting to think KISS is better solo than as a group! The first song is really catchy and sticks in your head and the last definitely has a current sound. It's pretty epic!
I wish I had a band that's been around as long as these guys that I was a huge fan of. The material would be endless!

Yeah! Thanks Soot! I never believed that any artist in music is really "one dimensional"...when you get something going and it happens to stick or work it's not wise to break from one's sound or deter from what fans expect.
Not that artists don't like what they play, just that most artists don't always listen to their own material as much as other artists they are fans of.
In Paul's or anyone of the KISS members' case they tend to not sound like "KISS" as we know "KISS" when branching off into solo avenues.
LIFT...yes is an epic tune and you can hear a more modern and alternative style to the music and lyric writing.
Hell..Paul has done some work recently with Sarah Brightman (who I love and I have this CD as well as all her stuff)..
...here is a cool track...
You heard a couple of those Gene Tunes....where he wrote with Dylan or something with a more hip hop feel...
This one is pretty left field but takes the fans back a bit to his '78 solo album.
