He did have some kind of nerve damage which didn't allow him to play like he used to, plus depression.

Very sad news another Legend in Rock has left us .R.I.P Kieth

There are rumors that this was a suicide by gunshot. Of course it's too soon to know. But if it's true I think it was because Keith knew he had some kind of cancer that doctors told him was terminal and he decided to end it quickly, rather than endure a painful and prolonged death. He had a very successful life...

Again, the facts aren't out yet. Let's wait and see.

I guess the truth will come out eventually, but that is terrible, if true.
