Does anyone know the band Kasabian?
I decided to make 2 reviews of their albums for the people that don't know them:
Their first album was Self-Titled. They published it in 2004. It has 10 songs plus a hidden track after song nr. 10 U-Boat.
Worldwide the album has had 3 different covers. I'm showing you all three.
Official Website
Kasabian (2004)
Empire (2006)
West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum (2009)
Velociraptor! (2011)
On this album we hear all types of instruments and sounds. I haven't found anything to compare it to.
Some songs I want to recommend:
ID. A song with a strange, weird intro of which I first got the feeling I was listening to a damaged tape. (1:12 to 1:32).
Lost Souls Forever. Not a great song but I want to mention it since some gamers might recognize it from the game EA Sports Fifa 2004.
Running Battle. A bit less loud but still a beautiful song. The middle part of the song is again something you don't hear often in today's music
Cutt Off. "John was a scientist, he was hooked on LSD". It starts with that, awesome. In the middle part of the song there's a nice kick which is typical Kasabian
U-Boat. The earlier mentioned last song of the album. Strange start, Building up singing towards a kick and after that a more quiet middle part where they work towards the end of the album with again a bunch of strange sounds. Don't forget about the hidden track though on the album haha
I hope you guys like my review
