Decided to listen and post some solo things by Robby Steinhardt-violin from Kansas, Steve Walsh -vocals and keys from Kansas and Kerry Livgren-guitar and keys and major songwriter.
Never really paid much attention to them after they left Kansas so....
'Not In Kansas Anymore' -Robby Steinhardt (2021) As expected a very Kansas like sound. His only solo lp before he passed on.
Steve Walsh -'Shadowman' (2005) third solo lp....his songs are a bit heavier at times than the old sound -especially on Glossolalia his 2nd lp which is almost prog metal at times.
Kerry Livgren-'The Sentinel' from Collectors Sedition (2000)...pretty classic Kansas sound on most things with heavy Christian themes since he found religion not long after Kansas folded the first time.

From Proto Kaw 1971-1973 before Kansas became official.......different musicians except for LIvgren

Livgren also reformed the oiginal Proto KAw band in 2003 for 3 lps....this is the first...Before Became After....I personally like this material over his solo work.

My Favorite Kerry Livgren solo work will always be Seeds Of Change. Not as overtly Christian as his AD stuff would be.
With the range of guests musicians, it was kind of a best of the best for the time (1980).
It was the first time I believe I ever heard Ronnie James Dio singing, and I love him from that moment on.

He had a mixed bag of people on that lp....Barlow drums on several tracks...he was Tull's drummer.
A couple of different singers as well and several people from Kansas like Walsh on vocals and Earhart on drums too.
He saved the better songs for Kansas imho...those two are somewhat average.
I think his work with Kansas and Proto Kaw is his best written stuff.
I like the 3 early Elf lps with Dio better than his later stuff with Rainbow or Sabbath.. They have a good classic blues rock feel (Stones, Humble Pie, Free, etc...) and seem more authentic somehow.
