Rob Halford says that he has a "gut feeling tells me we'll see something next year"

In an interview with Billboard.com Halford says that the band was "ramping things up to get back into full writing and recording mode" back in England. He says that he and guitarist Glenn Tipton have "a tremendous amount of material in the vaults already" with new guitarist Richie Faulkner expected to add his own material to the mix.

Halford adds that his "gut feeling tells me we'll see something next year" but doesn't want to commit to a firm timetable. "I'm of the attitude it'll be ready when it's ready," he explains. "I don't think we're going to slack off. We're determined to do a lot of work and be just as dedicated as we've always been and take a lot of care and attention with all the songs. We're not going to just bang this one out, so to speak."

First album without K.K Downing will be an interesting one. One I sure as hell would love to hear.

Anything new from Judas Priest can't possibly be a bad thing.

I own everything they've ever recorded. This one, if they do,
indeed record/release it, will be no exception.

I would love to see another album similar to "Hell Bent for Leather", but it's nice to know Halford and company still have the fire to do another record.
