40 years ago today.... April 14, 1980.... The metal classic British Steel was born

Point of Entry is one of my top 5 Priest albums. Has some killer tunes on there. Ram It Down has some good material just let down by bad production and mixing.Re-listening to several Priest albums today from the 1980s such as Point Of Entry and Ram It Down and I must admit metalheads they sound f*****g GREAT baby!!.
Totally agree Riff I rate Point Of Entry very highly amongst the Priest albums released between Sin After Sin in 1977 & Painkiller in 1990 it's a very satisfying listen from start to finish.Point of Entry is one of my top 5 Priest albums. I agree. I am also a fan of Ripper Owens. He has done vocals for some of my all time favorite bands like Iced Earth and Priest.I hate to say it, but KK's Priest is more Priest than Priest these days. They have the energy JP used to. And of course it doesn't hurt to have Ripper tearing it up on vocals.
