I went to see John Renbourn and Robin Williamson (from The Incredible String Band) in Sheffield again last night and they were fantastic, John played guitar and sang and Robin played the harp / flute and sang.

Robin did an amazing version of Heart Of Gold by Neil Young on the harp, was jaw dropping, he also played some great blues on that harp. He talked about blues hartmonica and said you don't need a harmonica for that, classic.

I talked to a lady there who went to art college with John in 1963 and she said she went back stage once and talked to him about this, he couldn't remember her but said he was thrown out of the college as he was asked to make a choice, art or music.

Can't say as though I have seen any art by him but is music is wonderful, I spoke to Robin after the show and thanked him for a great evening, they played for two hours:)

For about 40 years I have wanted to learn how to play "White Fishes," from Sir Johnalot/Merry Olde England. Does anyone know if there is a video or tablature for that song?

I've been listening to these two on one CD. Great stuff! I also love the early Pentangle albums.
