So I heard rumors that Joe Walsh from the Eagles is becoming a radio station dj. How crazy is that?? He has an entire channel now called Eagles Radio on the iheartradio application for my iPhone (similar to SiriusXM only free—which I love since music SHOULD be free).
He speaks (if you can understand him!) about his influences, plays the Eagles music and a bunch of similar artists. I actually listened to it by getting a link to a widget from one of my friends (so I can play it straight from my Facebook profile..it’s really cool). Anyway, just wanted to share the news that Joe has moved on from the band to become a famous radio personality. Haha. The channel is exceptionally great though and I’m sure they’re all songs he personally has on his ipod. This should be the next wave of music..I would love to hear more stations like Joe’s online for sure.
