I recently bought some Jefferson Starship vinyl LP's (Freedom, Modern Times, Winds). I like the Craig Chaquito era, before the mid 80's, the closest they would get to hard rock-ish. He was/is a very talented guitarist

^^ Agreed..and from all of the Jefferson Starship albums, those two would be my favourite.

^^Varying opinions on that one Martin, but for me "Surrealstic Pillow" is the best Jefferson Airplane album...I am no expert though I wasn't interested in them back when they were one of the heavyweights of the San Fransisco music scene.

I agree LG. "Surrealistic Pillow" has four of the Airplane's best (and best known) songs: "Somebody To Love", "Plastic Fantastic Lover", "Today" and "White Rabbit".
