Has anyone ever heard of a Jeff Scott Soto song called Renegade?. The song is a typical late 1980s US heavy rock/metal song that is featured in a Western movie called Bad Jim that stars James Brolin, Richard Roundtree & John Clark Gable the son of Hollywood legend Clark Gable.

The song Renegade is actually a pretty good heavy rock/metal song in it's own right although appearing in a movie as it does it may not be available on a Jeff Scott Soto cd?.

I have been a bit more around and found that it is on a pretty rare demo-album with the title "Demos 1986 - 1995 that was never released. The music and lyrics was composed by Louis Chalif (as Jamie Sheriff) according to IMDb. There is no albums with the tune to find over at Google Play or iTunes.

The actual Western movie that this Renegade track appears in is called Bad Jim (Bad Jim is the name that the John Clark Gable's character names his horse) and was made in 1990 and I found is quite an enjoyable movie to watch even though the movie appears to be aimed at possibly 15-25 year olds but don't let that put you off I've actually watched it around 25 plus times over the last 5 years or so and enjoy watching it every time. All three main characters in James Brolin, Richard Roundtree & John Clark Gable are very interesting to watch either separately or when they're interacting with each other I find.

The Jamie Sheriff character from memory is an English guy who possibly still works in the music business in Hollywood.

As for the actual track Renegade maybe one day it will find it's self onto a Jeff Scott Soto cd here's hoping.
