^^Nice list Martin, I'll have to check out Golden Earring's live record, don't have that one. And Bursting Out would be on my list as well...Ian actually told us they were recording for that album on the Heavy Horses support tour, not sure if we made it on the record though.;)

^ I agree GG's Playing the Fool album is very good.

Tull's Bursting Out contains a great version of Locomotive Breath.

If you are an Earring fan their live double is utterly fantastic, containing extended versions of their album tracks - this time with two guitars.

No. But I do like the "expanded" version on CD with the bonus concert on disc 2.

My five since I got the rock and roll affliction:

1. How The West Was Won - Led-Zeppelin
2. Live! Bootleg - Aerosmith
3. Made In Japan - Deep Purple
4. Live Killers! - Queen
5. Get Yer Ya-Yas Out - The Rolling Stones

Who's Last has live versions of Love Reign O'er Me and Doctor Jimmy. Kenney Jones makes a good job of standing in for Keith Moon too. I love The Who!

I've never really gotten into the Who...They're one of those bands that I want to like, and I realize how important they are...But they've never resonated with me personally.

My favorite live albums:
Kick Out the Jams by the MC5
Rock & Roll Animal by Lou Reed
Live at the Old Quarter by Townes Van Zandt
Get Yer Ya-Ya's Out! by the Rolling Stones
Unplugged in New York by Nirvana
Live at Folsom Prison by Johnny Cash
Songs from the Road by Leonard Cohen
Rock of Ages by the Band
Hard Rain by Bob Dylan
Rust Never Sleeps by Neil Young

Live at Leeds is amazing, great album. Got the 2 disk expanded edition, so worth it. It's not my favourite live album but would probably make my top 10.

Live at Lleeds is great but it's not even really my favorite live Who album. I would say that the Kids Are Alright soundtrack would qualify and I dig that more. I give Live at Leeds its props but there quite a few live albums I like more.
