All you can really do is stick to your opinion and remember that people will always be opinionated. Be it a strong opinion or a weak one. Music is possibly the biggest call for a debate in terms of genres, bands in certain years, etc.

I've learned to not take it personal if someone doesn't agree with my tastes in music. I've learned a lot from people here and grown musically, and I have a long way to go. It saddens me to see people post about the same artist(s) over and over again and not branch out, then hate on others' tastes. We can all get along without agreeing on artists. I for one will vote in the threads and take a more open-minded approach and if others choose not to, then that's alright with me too.

Though I don't see too many people here that hate Led Zeppelin, and that makes this forum a little more cool IMO.
