IF by Kojak

Can anyone remember a record done about 1975/76 that was released AFTER Telly Savalas did a version of David Gates 'IF'. It was basically the same record but as his character Kojak.
I used to have it but cannot remember who it was sung by. I just remember it being very funny.

Per this page, there was a 1976 compilation called Best Of Kojak that had that track on it.

Otherwise, there were 5 original albums released under his own name, including a 1974 album which also had the track.

I'd forgotten Telly sang. I imagine my dad had some of those albums in his record collection. He had the same hairstyle as Telly.
