Omg that was just such a ghastly and embarrassing era for rock music, with everyone (even Rush) basically making soft-focus MTV hair-spray commercials to a winey synthesized backing track.... at least Clapton here still sounded like a true rocker at heart, so I voted for him.

I think there was a lot of good music back then, even though I was never a fan of musicians becoming 'movie stars or directors'.:nw:

I prefer to listen to music without any video, I've always let the music take me and my imagination to wherever it ends up, far more enjoyable than almost all the videos I've ever watched.(Exception would be classic live concerts, those are excellent when properly produced.)
