[Hard Rockin]

My name is Paul and I like a lot of harder Classic Rock. Most of my interests gravitate towards British bands such as Zeppelin, Sabbath, Deep Purple, Pink Floyd, Cream, Jethro Tull etc.... My 2 favorite bands have been Zeppelin and AC/DC for about 20 years and I never seem to grow tired of Zeppelin or AC/DC. As far as American bands my favorites are The Allman Brothers and The Grateful Dead. I also have a strong interest in Blues, particularly Chicago and Delta Blues and I have a large collection of Blues albums. My favorite bluesmen are Muddy Waters, Robert Johnson, Howlin Wolf, Sonny Boy Williamson II, Elmore James, Stevie Ray of course and Johnny Winter who I think is a tremendously under rated guitarist. I also enjoy some Bluegrass, John Hartford in particular and some older country like Waylon (Waylon Live is a great album), Johnny Cash and Buck Owens.

I am super psyched about teaching my 10 yr old son bass! He started with 7 Nation Army about 3 months ago and now can play several songs. I will upload some to YouTube and link them in the future. It really pleases me that he is listening to and learning to play some Rock while his friends at school listen to One Direction and Justin Bieber.
