How do you sell your music?

Hi!

I wanna know how do you sell your music?

The best solution seems to be the E-market, you sell your virtual music, there's no packaging, no CD, no Covers (or just virtual)... Like this, there's less cost, less polution, and there's more and more people buying CDs virtually. (Except me I prefer real CD)

What site is the best? Not only about money, but also about copyrights, etc.

I think of Bandcamp... I read their policy, and it seems interesting. But It's hard to find what happens to your creation, your copyrights?

Is it hard to sell physical CDs?

Well, I guess there's musicians selling their music here, so I'd like to have advices of real people... I'd like to record and try to sell my music too (Rock/Folk). I'm just wondering

No matter what else you do make sure you copywrite your own material, even if it's only e-mailing it to yourself. Don't publish anything until protecting your interests.

I don't know much about selling your own music, many artists if they can manage it record their music and make some CD's and sell them at their gigs.

I am not in favour of the 'virtual world' which is taking over everything...I prefer a physical copy I hold in my hand.
