Hi! My name is alex and I'm a guitarist from uk
i also play a bit of keys and bass, i track them on recordings but have never properly played either live haha
I've just formed a new country rock band with my best friend from school (we've always performed together, he plays rhythm and sings), we're a 6 piece inspired by bands like counting crows, or needtobreathe
we're hoping to release our first single in a few weeks and over easter we recorded (audio and video) a live set of us performing about 7 songs which we're really excited to share over summer
our only problem is... we really need a band name haha. If anyone has any suggestions that would be brilliant!! the kind of ideas we have had so far are:
*something with 'brothers' to represent the closeness of the core members of the band
*something with tiburon. after the place in the US which the singer's grandad used to live, it is now the name of his house in UK. I really like the sound of the word and its links to US. I suggested Brothers Tiburon
*Something with highway/lights. Again, american reference or just nice imagery
