That's right! Vinyl is richer. Digital sounds cold and sterile by comparisom.

What turntable do you have?

That depends on which Era you are talkin' about my Erroneous Feline. It is pretty much widely agreed that vinyl albums from the mid 60's to the 70's sound better than most of the CD's the labels released. However, numerous improvements have been made with the Digital playback equipment to improve the sound, and anything recorded from the 90's till now is very good on CD. I do wish I had some of my vinyl that I lost years ago, but I have adapted to the Digital age. And I still have my beautiful turntable which works great.

That's true. CDs have improved a lot over the past ten to fifteen years.

I have a Sony LX300USB, I know not top of the line, but probably more top of the line than the one I had as a teenager in the 80s :)

My wife was nice enough to purchase that and the 180G Vinyl signed copy of Ace Frehley Anomaly for my birthday last October, since then, I've bought about 50 LPs. I've had quite a bit of fun hitting the Half Priced bookstores (and a few other stores (like Entertainmart)) going through LPs looking for gems. It's a nice way to spend a lunch break.
