Hi all - I stumbled across the forum & thought I would join to say hello !

I enjoy most Rock music, but have strong leanings towards the Progressive end of things with bands like Yes, UK, Camel & early Genesis being of the type I most enjoy/relate to

I live in essex with my partner & our family of rescued animals - who number some 400 ! (48 horses & 30 dogs to name a few). I collect vintage keyboards as & when finances allow ...so not that often !!

No funnily enough, I never got into them ! - mind you only heard one album, but despite several plays it never grabbed me - perhaps I need to try a different album !

Well you reminded me of Gentle Giant & I quickly checked on some reviews of the one album of theirs I tried (the missing piece) & it seems that this isn't a patch on the early ones (from the quick review I just read) so perhaps I better check an older one out ! - VDGG - hmm, there's another band I need to listen to... so many bands & so little time ! - Just got into the Strawbs, so perhaps there's hope for me yet... eheh

There are some great official bands threads in the progressive section. Try some early Gentle Giant, Strawbs and VDGG over there.
