It's pretty hard to find, I got mine off ebay from a fan from Germany
for 10 bucks used, but in excellent shape. He sent it to me before the money
even got to him, very cool guy.

It is a great CD, definitely worth the effort to find a copy.

Re: Hawkwind

Thought that I might pump a little blood into this thread seeing as a lot of the Hawkfans here don't seem to be that famialar w/ later era Hawkwind. I am of the personal opinion that much of the later
material is quite good ,so here are some of my favorites beginning with the awesome album:

The Chronicle of the Black Sword from 1985 .One of very favorites, it's based on Michael Moorcock's Elric of Melniboné saga, BTW .

Song of the Swords

Sea King

Chaos Army / Horn of Destiny

I own the original pressing of this CD. It has become a bit of a collectors item and also contains the
live staple Needlegun .

Re: Hawkwind

I have that one DKW, and it is a good concept record. I never really liked the Elric stories themselves that much so Hawkwind's album gives me all I need about that storyline and character.

Never saw this cover before, the one I have is different.

Nice one DKWolf I shall be nipping to see my mate Mr Hudson our local record dealer very soon. I have actually picked this one up several times in the past only to put it back down for some other choice. Twill be rectified.

I must admit LG the artwork catches the eye and I for one get drawn in when browsing in the shops by great artwork.

Re: Hawkwind

^^I have lost count how many vinyl albums I bought over the years Because of the artwork, fortunately most of them also had good music but a few I hardly played at all but would pull out the sleeves and just look at them once in a while.:D
