Hello everyone, especially to all guitar experts out there! I'm Eric, a guitarist from the Philippines and I'm new to the forums (around 2-3 weeks I guess) and also a newbie in setting up my guitar tone. I need help in describing these 4 guitar tones used by John Mayer. :D

Our band will be playing a 3-song set on February 5, and we'll start practicing this Saturday. And as of now, I'm having a little difficulty at guitar tone set-up (i have a broken amp).

So now, I need help in describing the tones (listed later on below) in terms of:

1. Which STRAT PICKUP (Neck, Neck-mid, Mid, Mid-Bridge or Bridge) was used?
2. How much GAIN?
3. Clean, Overdrive or Distortion?
4. EQUALIZATION: How much (out of 10 for each) Low, Mid and High?
5. Was CHORUS Used?
6. Was DELAY or REVERB used?

(NOTE: I'm using a Zoom 505 II, but I plan to do the Equalization on the studio/stage amp)

Here are the guitar tones:

1. Rhythm from Slow Dancing in a Burning Room

-shown pretty much all the times at the video, most important at 1:04

2. Used in Soloing at Slow Dancing in a Burning Room

-same video, YouTube - John Mayer - Slow Dancing In A Burning Room (Live in LA) [High Def!]

-heard from 4:40 to 6:15

3. Rhythm from John Mayer's Bold As Love Cover

-

-heard from 0:09 to 2:09

4. Used to solo for Mayer's Bold as Love Cover

-same video as #3, YouTube - John Mayer - Bold As Love (Live in LA)

-heard from 2:09 to 2:55

That is all for now. Thank you so much CRF people! :D
