Great Album, Then They Were Gone

Dude I did not say I don't like Hysteria, I just said it is a bit too pop oriented and polished compared to its counterparts before it and yes I do like Adrenalize. Just because I think something is a bit overrated does not mean I dislike it.

Fair enough. But it really did sound like you do not care for Hysteria or any of the following albums.

I never disliked Def Leppard, and Joe Elliot is certainly a guy who is aware of his rock heritage, but I always thought the lyrics let them down. It was the type of stuff you could imagine 15 year old schoolboys writing. eg - 'I suppose a rock's out of the question?' - makes me cringe every time I hear it.

Nah I just gave some personal criticism of those albums is all despite liking them. lol Just the things about them I think lower the score a bit.

Slang was different. lol. Never bothered listening to the whole album. I didn't mind the couple of singles that came out though.

The follow-up Euphoria was not bad. I thought it was a comeback of sorts.

It was after Euphoria that I lost interest. The songs that I heard from the next one titled "X" were terrible. They sounded more like the Backstreet Boys of rock. lol.

They reunited in 2012 and cut another record, but it wasn't near as good.
