Italian prog rock outfit formed mid 70's. Did a few scores for the Dario Argento horror flicks.

Black Forest - Goblin (Suspiria Soundtrack)

I have four Goblin albums Sox...but I don't play them very often.

I don't think the band would make many favourite lists but they are a little bit different, something to put on when the mood takes you kind of stuff.

They are good for background music when I'm reading stuff like that.

Exactly that sums it up perfectly. A good way to chill out.

Hiya Sox - Good to catch up again last night and looking forward to Tuesday mate. Didn't have you down as being a fan of Goblin. I think the Suspira soundtrack is one of the great horror movie scores, bit too sinister to relax to for my taste though.

Ennio Morricone did at least 3 soundtracks for Dario Argento too. Added a link to one of his more psychedelic tracks.

Svolta Definitiva

EZ now.

Ey-up old lad, yeah I find the old horrors soothing .. as strange as that seems. Like the scores to "Devil Rides Out" and "Wicker Man".

Oooh, ooooh I missed this thread. Being a huge horror fan I love Dario Argentos films and the music Goblin contributes to them!

Suspiria is a great stylish, original film and the music is half the reason! :grinthumb
