I don't know any of the movies you Horror Buffs are talking about, but I do know who Ennio Morricone is at least.

I have the ST for Suspira, it was the first Goblin album I ever listened to.

Ive got to agree the soundtrack to the horror film "Suspiria" is outstanding. A great film too of colours and imagery.Very,very gothic....GOBLINs music is so upfront "...in your face" but it adds to the atmosphere of the film perfectly
As far as Italian Prog goes.....I never got past a P.F.M album a friend borrowed me many years ago.
I will be checking out more of GOBLINs music....
