His next show was supposed to had been in Huntsville Alabama which is where I was born. He passed at Vanderbilt University hospital in Nashville which is where he lived for years and just 100 miles north of Huntsville. He will be missed big time

On the lighter side of things. I couldn't find the proper footage but this will do. George stopped on I-65 just outside of Nashville and arrested for dui.

Now that is a powerful song! George Jones was real country music, the good stuff, outstanding voice. RIP
