Indeed, 1972 is one of those golden years for hard and prog rock, Uriah Heep - Demons And Wizards and Magician's Birthday, Gentle Giant - Octopus, Groundhogs - Split, Jethro Tull - Thick As A Brick and Nektar - A Tab In The Ocean.

That's right, Heep released 2 records that year. The productivity of bands in the late 60s-early 70s just blows me away. I have the Magician's Birthday which I think is great, as well as the one that followed, Sweet Freedom, which I don't like near as much. Really have to get my hands on Demons and Wizards, though.
