Gary Brooker RIP

Gary Brooker of Procol Harum has died on February 19th 2022 aged 76. Gary was a pianist, vocalist and founding member of the British rock band Procol Harum from 1967-1977. The bands massive hit single A Whiter Shade of Pale was a world wide hit during the 'summer of love' in 1967 although the band subsequently released a number of singles and albums into the mid 1970s before breaking up in 1977. Gary subsequently became a member of Eric Clapton's backing band during the 1980s & 1990s.

Ahhh, another legendary musician is gone. I loved his old classic works, but "The Well's On Fire" of 2003 was wonderful too... R.I.P.
