Foreigner. I never heard of Toto until way later.

Although both debut albums were originally released about the same time, and also were very impressionable with me, Foreigners' debut made more of a bigger initial impression upon me. I greatly like both of these albums and listen to them a lot, too! :)

If it weren't for "Hold the Line", I do believe Toto's S/T would have slipped right past me.......I was a radio chick back then. And Foreigner's S/T had quite a few big radio hits.

Both are good debuts, Foreigner's has more depth to it, so it gets my vote.

Foreigner's depth - great album.

IMO, Toto's first album had a couple of good rock tunes, but after that they went total pop.
