Re: Fleetwood Mac

Like what? I just recently got into these guys via their more pop-oriented stuff (Rumours, etc.), but I've heard that they had a more bluesy sound before that, which sounds pretty cool.

Thanks. Like I said, been wanting to check that stuff out, so I'll give it a listen. But may I say that, regardless of what they did in the late 60s in the British blues format and who was first with what, Rumours was an absolutely magnificent album? Really tough to beat no matter how you slice it. Doesn't matter who was doing what ahead of the trend, any band out there in the late 70s would've liked to make an album like that, but only a handful did.

Gwyneth Paltrow and the Glee cast did a very nice, country-ish rendition of "Landslide" that aired a couple of weeks ago.

On May 24, 1970 Peter Green played his last gig with Fleetwood Mac when they appeared at the Bath Festival, Somerset, England.

Re: Fleetwood Mac

Hi I'm a new poster, here is a video I have made to Peter Green's 'The Green Manalishi', it is quite dark in content, and is my interpretation of the song, and the torment that was going on in Peter's mind/life, The Green Manalishi (with the two prong crown) money.

Re: Fleetwood Mac

Never been familiar with Fleetwood Mac and Peter Green, but since I watched your video I think it is time to expand my library and get some of their stuff. Brilliant video, I like it!
